Inaugural Edition – School of Education Led Magazine
"It gives me much pleasure to write a forward to this inaugural School of Education Magazine..."
It gives me much pleasure to write a forward to this inaugural School of Education Magazine. The idea was borne out of the need for future teachers to share their experiences in and out of campus. This interest bears on the fact that student teachers live both on campus and outside of campus. This inaugural magazine captures both experiences and dreams of this category of students from Daystar. Whereas this is conceptualized as a Magazine for students at the School of Education, I am happy to note that some contributions from students from the School of Law have been accommodated. It is my hope that the future teachers- and particularly the Editors of this Magazine- will continue to allow such a mix of experiences. Together, we are the richer. The totality of the contributions is awe inspiring. I have read all the articles in this first publication when they were in draft form. I enjoyed every bit of it. I am amazed at the level of talent out there. I hope that others reading this Magazine will equally enjoy. I therefore write to thank all those who responded to the call and shared their experiences and interests as captured in this Magazine. At the same time, I wish to encourage both those who have contributed and those who have not contributed to this edition to do so. It is my hope and prayer that the Editorial Board together with the Patron- Dr. Sitati will keep the flame of publishing this Magazine burning. For now, I say congratulations.
