Dear Ramadhan,

Hello love,

To this day, I can’t fathom the ways in which our very first encounter would affect us in such a profound way. Who would have thought in the midst of a game, a performance filled with chaos and noise, I would encounter a gem who would bring me the deepest joy.

You have sprinkled my daily routine with some of the most meaningful conversations that I have no way of describing. From a mere ‘good morning’ to the little check-ins we have during the never-ending day, I do somehow find a way to appreciate what you have made routine.   The most beautiful aspect to me is how absolutely effortless everything is with you. I find it interesting how we have never occupied the same physical space, never shared a touch or a look in real time, and yet it is impossible to ignore the connection we possess. It’s as though every form of distance is covered with the care you display through your voice, as well as your words.

I admit it, I am not a flawless person. I have made mistakes, made decisions that I am not proud of. Yet, knowing you has made me want to pursue a better version of myself. You show me that love doesn't only have to do with emotions, but rather how much one grows as a person because of those feelings. I am indebted to you for that.  The future is a question mark, but for as long as you are here, and unexpectedly, I have to say that it has been one of the highlights of my life. I have been waiting for you for a long time and the expectation was fulfilling. May whatever we have never end and if it's to change, may it change for the better every second,
