Daystar University School of Law participates in FDI Moot Court Competition in Boston, USA
Daystar University School of Law participated in the just ended Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot Court Competition held in Boston, USA.
DUSOL was the only other team from Africa, besides the Kenya School of Law, to participate in this international Moot Court competition
The team bowed out after 4 rounds of competition on the global stage, but not before bagging a first position certificate.
The Dean, School of Law, Dr. Maurice Owuor has thanked the VC and Daystar University for the moral and financial support, which propelled the team to the global stage after topping the African regional rounds last July/August.
"Although the team never made it to the end, they gained valuable experiences in this competition," said Dr. Owuor.
The team, which consists of four students and one faculty member is on its way back home and are expected back in Kenya on 6th November.
Before embarking on their return trip, they visited the Harvard Business School and School of Law.
They also enjoyed other excursions organized by the FDI.
We congratulate the four and their lecturer, Mr. Ayub Okayo.

On Saturday, before results were announced, the team toured Freedom Trail, a historical site for America's struggle as a colony and the struggle for equal treatment by the black race
